Журнал "Art and Design" – рецензований науковий журнал з відкритим доступом, призначений для публікації оригінальних, інноваційних, новітніх та високоякісних наукових статей. До друку приймаються статті, які не були опубліковані раніше і не розглядаються в інших виданнях, а також мають принципове наукове, теоретичне та практичне значення та є результатом оригінальних наукових досліджень.

Тематична спрямованість журналу "Art and Design": соціально-гуманітарні та культурологічні проблеми мистецтвознавства, методологічні питання дизайну; проблеми історії, теорії і практики дизайну та художньо-проектної культури; стилістика та художньо-образні засоби дизайн-діяльності; сучасні концепції та тенденції розвитку різних напрямів дизайну (арт і фешн-дизайну, фото-, відео-, web-, motion-дизайну, графічного дизайну, дизайну архітектурного середовища) тощо.

Видання орієнтоване на науковців, викладачів, аспірантів, студентів, а також науково-практичних працівників і фахівців з дизайну та мистецтвознавства.
