Abstract

It was grounded that substitution of toxic brands of synthetic dyes by vegetable dyes in small-scale textile production ensures not only the ecologization of technology, widening and enrichment of range of colourings but the increase of their light fastness on fabrics with different fibre composition. The role of mordant type and modes of mordation of fabrics dyed by the vegetable dyes in the formation of quality of colourings was revealed.
