dc.description.abstractIn this paper, green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the aqueous extracts of apricot, grape and black currant wastes as reducing and caping agents, has been discussed. Cyclic voltammetry study was performed to determine the antioxidant activity of the AgNPs. The antiradical activity of the synthesized nanoparticles was evaluated by DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) and ABTS (2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) power assays. The antiradical activity followed the descending order: grape pomace extract – AgNPs > apricot pomace extract - AgNPs > currant pomace – AgNPs. A good correlation between electrochemical and spectrophotometric techniques was established.en
